My Friend, Wordsworth
The naming of my blog was influenced by a quotation from William Wordsworth (1770-1850): "Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart." Just, uh, for full disclosure.
I've been reading Wordsworth lately, of all people. Not going too fast, since sometimes I have to read it 3 or 4 times. I loved the part on Books in the Prelude, I believe it's called Book Fifth. I made an uncredited quote of it in a blog yesterday, http://www.grandmaslump.com/2013/06/part-2-have-scythe-will-travel.html . Very great poetry, Wordsworth, not me.
I completely understand, and I teach the guy. Keep reading him though. Wordsworth's words helped bring John Stuart Mill back from a wall of exhaustion and anxiety he hit due to pressure from his Dad. Powerful stuff, that poetry of Wordsworth.
